CRTC will not reconsider status of Rogers’ home-based wireless

The CRTC on Monday turned down a request by Wightman Telecom Ltd. to reconsider a decision made last year to confirm that a service Rogers Communications Inc. offers on its mobile network as a substitute for home- or office-based phone access is in fact a wireless service and not a local exchange.
