ISPs provide mere ‘mode of transmission,’ Supreme Court says

The Supreme Court of Canada issued a decision Thursday that said Internet service providers (ISPs) do not carry on broadcasting activities under the Broadcasting Act and merely provide a “mode of transmission.”
