Rogers, Shaw say new carriage linkage rule will mean dropped channels

A CRTC proposal to require vertically integrated broadcast companies to carry more independent, English-language specialty services will result in fewer third-language channels on cable and satellite television, two of Canada’s largest cable carriers say.
