FCC’s national broadband plan to impact wireless broadband in Canada

Industry experts say the US Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) new 360-page National Broadband Plan is likely to influence Canada’s wireless spectrum allocation and broadband coverage. 

The plan, released Tuesday, recommends that the United States government make 500 MHz of spectrum newly available for broadband within the next 10 years.
