OTTAWA—Industry Minister Tony Clement says he hopes the federal government’s new anti-spam legislation—introduced in the House in mostly the same form as the version that died in the Senate—can be put on the fast track to enactment. Clement introduced Bill C-28, the Fighting Internet and Wireless Spam Act, in the Commons Tuesday. The bill is mostly the same as previous legislation introduced by the government with the aim of reducing spam.
