If the world is moving toward liberalizing its foreign ownership restrictions, it's not happening fast.

That's one of the points made in the introduction to the newly released edition of Telecoms and Media 2011, a collection by British publisher Getting the Deal Through, that looks at the telecom and media regulatory frameworks in 48 jurisdictions around the world.
