Zi beefs up revenue with Sony Ericsson deal

Zi Corp., a provider of predictive text solutions for mobile devices, has shored up a new arrangement with Sony Ericsson that will see the handset maker spend significantly more money in licensing Zi’s predictive text products. Zi is expected to generate 33% more annual revenue as a result of this new deal and will see a more than 80% increase in revenue in the second half of 2008 compared to the revenue from the first six months of the year.
