Nortel closes sale of shares to Ericsson

Nortel Networks Corp. announced Tuesday that Nortel Networks Ltd., its principal operating subsidiary, has completed the sale of its 50 per cent plus one share interest in LG-Nortel Co. Ltd. to Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson for $242 million US.
