CIPPIC and CBC can intervene in de-indexing case, court rules

Federal Court has said that both the CBC/Radio-Canada and the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy & Public Interest Clinic at the University of Ottawa (CIPPIC) can intervene in a case that could help determine whether a Canadian “right to be forgotten” exists.

Telecoms back Quebecor over Bell support structure access

Small telecommunications providers, the Canadian Communications Systems Alliance and Rogers Communications Inc. have all filed interventions with the CRTC supporting Quebecor Inc.’s Part 1 application over access to BCE Inc. support structures, saying they’ve encountered the same issues gaining access.

Bell upping internet speed for some rural customers to 50 Mbps

Rogers profits down 53% in ‘most volatile’ quarter
