The CRTC is holding a hearing on the implementation of skinny basic packages. It will consider broadcast licence "renewals of terrestrial broadcasting distribution undertakings (BDUs) that will expire in 2016; implementation of certain conditions of licence and review of practices in regard to the small basic service and flexible packaging requirements for all BDU licensees," according to the notice of consultation.
