Resignation of CEO heightens uncertainty about the future of Call-Net Enterprises

The departure of Kevin Bennis as president and CEO of Call-Net Enterprises Inc has dealt another blow to the battered telco. Only in the position since last October, Bennis quit to take a job in the U.S. The company has appointed board member Peter Tanaka as the acting president while it searches for a new boss.
