Blackwatch sets up new division to offer bridge funding to production houses

Blackwatch Communications Inc, a Montreal-based film and TV production company, is starting a new $50-million fund to help other producers. In making the announcement September 11 at the Toronto Film Festival, Blackwatch president William Mariani said over the next eight months his company will offer producers short-term cash-flow, in addition to tax credit analysis and collection, legal and accounting services, post-production and delivery services.
