Paradigm Advanced Technologies has appointed Joseph Schembri chief of engineering for the company’s subsidiary PowerLOC Technologies Inc. Prior to joining the company, Schembri was president at Tie Communications Research Inc, a designer and manufacturer of telecommunications equipment for the global marketplace. He has also worked at Nortel Networks Corp and Motorola Inc where he specialized in setting up the engineering database and documentation control procedures. Paradigm has also named J Edward Antecol as the company’s new general counsel. He is formerly VP regulatory at AT&T Canada Corp. Antecol will advise the company on matters regarding its intellectual property and licensing agreements.
