David Thompson withdrew his resignation as executive VP and CFO at Entrust Technologies. The company had previously announced that he was leaving the company to take on a similar position with another firm. Owen Jones has resigned as a director of Sideware Systems to pursue other interests. He leaves the company on good terms. The remaining directors of the company are James Speros, Grant Sutherland, Jay Nussbaum, Peter Kozicki and Edward White. Following the merger of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters and the Specialty and Premium Television Association, the CAB has made two additions. Mario Mota will serve as director, specialty and pay services. He was previously editor of Canadian Communications Reports from 1997 to 1999. Julie Carl also joins the CAB from the SPTV. She will take on the responsibility of manager, member services. At the SPTV, she held a similar position. Internet Multimedia Corp has named Stefano Zorzi as its new CEO. The appointment of Zorzi signals a new direction for the company as it tries to establish a new identity. His expertise in telecommunications, gaming, amusement, multimedia and the vending industry should be invaluable to the company as it implements its new strategy. Dean Harrington has also joined the company as director of investor relations and business development. Paul Ferguson joins the team in the capacity of IT and project manager. Carol Hacket will become the company’s corporate secretary. Ronald Monark has been elected to the board of directors at ATC Technologies Corp, Vancouver. He was previously president and CEO at Mitchell International from 1989 to 1996. Additionally, the company announced that Brian Moorhouse has retired from the board due to health reasons.
