CANARIE funds “virtual business network” company with $1.5 million investment

A former Internet incubator has switched from developing new web technologies to selling business networking software, supported by a $1.5-million investment from CANARIE Inc’s E-Business Virtual Cluster Program. VENNGO Inc (formerly Equityengine.com Inc) of Toronto will use the money to finish development of a web-based software product which interconnects businesses into common communities.
