Microcell, Aliant launch safe driving awareness programs
Microcell Telecommunications Inc. has launched its new Safe Driving Awareness Program. The interactive web-based program designed to help drivers avoid distractions on the road. The program lets users rate their personal risk of distraction, and then learn how to minimize it. The program allows customers to print their own solutions to common distractions and provides tips and information on how to use a wireless phone safely. The awareness program is free and accessible through the Safe Driving sections on the Fido and Microcell web sites. Aliant Telecom Wireless has partnered with the Canadian Automobile Association to promote public safety. This partnership also enables the two organizations to "drive home" their respective safety messages.
