Deployment of broadband should not rely on government subsidy: FCC commissioner

As Canada prepares its own rollout of broadband to all parts of the country, a member of the Federal Communications Commission offers a different perspective. Commissioner Kevin Martin spoke to the National Summit on Broadband Deployment late last month. Here is an edited version of his remarks.
