Philip B. Lind, vice-chair of Rogers Communications Inc., has been named a member of the Order of Canada. Lind, who has been with Rogers for 33 years including as vice-chair since 1991, has served on many boards. Also at Rogers, the company’s board of directors has extended the contract of founder Ted Rogers in his position as chief executive officer for three more years.
