Canada’s wireless lobby releases blank media levy position statement

The Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA) has outlined its case against proposed levies on blank audio media in a recently released position statement supporting the Canadian Private Copying Collective’s (CPCC) position that the levy shouldn’t be applied to wireless devices such as cell phones, PDAs or laptop computers.
