Former Nortel Networks Corp. sales and marketing VP Claude Giguère has joined SR Telecom Inc. as senior VP sales. He will be charged with developing the company’s global sales strategy and lead its sales team. Giguère’s appointment comes as the company continues to transform itself through a broadening of its product portfolio and geographic market penetration. He has more than 25 years experience in the telecommunications industry having worked his way up the ranks of several high-profile communications companies. Giguère began his career at Bell Canada, worked 17 years at Nortel Networks and spent two years in France with France Telecom.
