Subscription radio, digital radio create challenges for private radio industry: CAB

Even though net profits in the private radio industry grew 31% to $210.4 million in 2003 from the previous year, according to CRTC statistics released last week, the Canadian Association of Broadcasters’ new VP of radio warns that the positive trend may not continue.
