Industry Canada rules on access to analog broadcast spectrum in channels 60-69

Industry Canada has decided to add a mobile allocation to the 746-806 MHz frequency band, a decision that clears the way for wireless carrier access to the valuable bandwidth (DGTP-02-004). The department has also allocated 12 MHz of this spectrum exclusively to public safety, allowing for the introduction of interoperable first responder communications among different jurisdictions and agencies.
