Rogers adds college football, basketball to sports package
Rogers Cable Inc. announced September 30 that it was adding more than 350 NCAA College football and basketball games to its premium pay Super Sports Pak. The package already includes NFL Sunday Ticket, MLB Extra Innings, NASCAR in Car, and NHL Centre Ice, when the NHL hockey season is on. Due to a labor dispute between the NHL and the player’s association, the 2004-05 hockey season is on hold. "For those sports fans who wondered what life would be like this fall without hockey, Rogers is making life more exciting and its Super Sport Pak customers with a huge line-up of college football and basketball," David Purdy, VP and general manager of television at Rogers Cable Inc., said in a media release. The Rogers Super Sports Pak costs $24.95 a month and requires a four-month minimum commitment.
