Bell, Wesley Clover establish advanced solutions centre
Bell Canada and a number of Wesley Clover companies held by Terry Matthews announced February 14 that they had created an advanced solutions innovation center to collaboratively develop vertical industry advanced communications solutions for the small and medium-sized business, large enterprise and government markets. The new facility is located in Kanata ON. "By leveraging our respective markets, as well as technology expertise and leadership, Bell and Wesley Clover companies will be able to quickly bring to market end-to-end solutions that allow Canadian businesses and government to increase their efficiency and competitiveness," said Bell Canada president of small and medium business Karen Sheriff. "This latest initiative will also enhance Bell’s ability, as the trusted technology advisor, to offer SMBs a unique opportunity to participate in the development of advanced solutions that will meet their needs." The Bell Innovation Centre (Advanced Solutions) will allow for customer demonstration, accelerated prototyping, solution integration facilitating early customer involvement and feedback, testing and enhancement of security solutions, hosted applications, and communications over IP.
