BelAir provides Wi-Fi access at Mexican resort
BelAir Networks has partnered with Viasys Network Services to deploy the infrastructure necessary to provide Wi-Fi Internet access for guests and employees. The wide area wireless network infrastructure supplied by BelAir was ideally suited for this type of deployment, said the CEO of Viasys. "The company’s multi-radio, multi-service mesh architecture enabled us to provide complete, broadband Wi-Fi access by projecting Wi-Fi into the rooms from the outside – without disrupting hotel guests or the surrounding environment," said Lance McNeill. The network consisted of 16 BelAir200 wireless multi-service switch routers and BelAir100 wireless multi-service nodes. The network can be accessed from anywhere in the hotel or on the resort grounds.
