Toronto-based online gaming software firm CryptoLogic Inc. has gained a new non-executive director in Nigel Simon, a 20-year veteran senior management veteran of the U.K.’s Gallaher, a tobacco manufacturer and wholesaler. During his time at Gallaher, Simon was partly responsible for growing the firm’s international profits by more than 600%, and also for the acquisition of a large Austrian tobacco concern. CryptoLogic believes Simon will prove indispensable as it pursues future growth in the U.K. and rest of Europe.
