The International Institute of Telecommunications (IIT) has appointed Mary Ann Bell chairman of the organization. Bell has been a member of the ITT since May 2003, and served on the ITT-R board of directors since its inception in April 2004. She has been employed at Bell Canada for over 20 years and is currently a senior vice president.
