Sportscaster Brian Williams has joined CTV Inc. as a member of CTV and TSN’s broadcast teams where he will play a leading role in shaping and delivering Olympic broadcast coverage of the 2010 Winter Games from Vancouver-Whistler BC. Williams first reported on the Olympics at the 1976 Summer Games from Montreal and has covered virtually every Olympic Games since. He began calling university basketball play-by-play in 1967, and started his professional radio career with CHUM. After a year at CFRB Radio in Toronto, he joined CBLT and remained with CBC for over 30 years. Williams made his CTV/TSN debut on June 16, opening night of the 2006 CFL season.
