Dance over to doodlebops.com!
Kids get front-row seating at doodlebops.com as they experience the world of music with their favorite rockin’ band, The Doodlebops! The Doodlebops is a live-action preschool series which airs weekdays at 10 a.m. ET on CBC and on VRAK in Canada, as well as on the Disney Channel in the US and UK. The Doodlebops website is an immersive interactive destination for kids two to six. Here they will learn all about Deedee, Rooney and Moe Doodle, join the official Doodlebops Fan Club, watch music videos, listen to their favorite Doodlebops songs and play the coolest immersive games for kids on the ‘Net. In the "Clubhouse Games" section, kids are invited inside the Doodlebops world to explore their clubhouse and play four interactive music- and dance-inspired games. Eight more immersive games will launch at the end of summer and kids will then be able to explore the Doodlebops tour bus, recording studio and concert stage. These unique immersive games feature embedded live-action video of the Doodles themselves on an animated Flash background. Children will be able to interact directly with their beloved music stars, and each game is designed to foster musical and dance creativity in children. Kids will be able to compose their own songs, choreograph their own dances, learn about new music styles and more. In addition to the 12 immersive world games, the Doodlebops website also features two fun Flash games, printable activities and even ideas on how to throw your own Doodlebops concert! The Doodlebops site has received more than 11 million hits so far this year and more than 18,000 fans have joined the online fan club so far! The Doodlebops television series is produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment. Doodlebops.com is produced by new media producer Tribal Nova with support from the Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund.
