SMS is king for US mobile subscribers, according to new research
Text messaging ruled the roost for US mobile wireless subscribers in the month of July, according to recently released data from M:Metrics. The figures below show that nearly 40% of American wireless subscribers have sent a text message. But the research also notes that a healthy portion of subscribers in the United States are sending picture messages, browsing for news and information and purchasing ringtones.
