Martin Bouchard has been appointed president and CEO of Mamma.com. Bouchard, whose appointment is a promotion from his position as executive VP of the company, originally joined Mamma.com when it acquired the Copernic Technologies Inc. in December 2005. He has been a director at Mamma.com since June 2006. He is also an experienced manager and entrepreneur who received several industry awards including the Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year in 2001, and the All-time 25 Great Pioneers of IT in Quebec. Bouchard is replacing Guy Faure, who is resigning from his position as president and CEO, and as a member of the board of directors, to pursue other business opportunities. Faure has served on Mamma.com’s board since May 2003 and was named president and CEO in January 2004.
