Red Light Lounge opens for Virgin customers

Brief | March 9, 2007

Virgin Mobile Canada customers can now access the Red Light Lounge mobile community, which has been made available on the network by Virgin Mobile and Vancouver-based mobile social networking firm AirG. The mobile community offers Virgin’s customers with such features as instant messaging, picture profiles, search tools, photo sharing and blogging. AirG director Frederick Ghahramani described the Red Light Lounge as "the most innovative, feature rich and engaging private labeled mobile community." The service has been customized by Virgin and is being offered to customers of the mobile service provider all across Canada. However, the service is only available to those customers with wireless Web-enabled handsets.
