New rate plans a shift in industry practices

Brief | March 12, 2007

Bell Mobility says it’s breaking new ground in the wireless industry with a new feature that makes it more affordable for customers to talk to each other. The Canadian wireless provider is offering a new set of rate plans that include unlimited local calls to and from anyone with a Bell phone number. This "Bell-to-Bell calling" feature includes calls to and from Bell mobile, residential and business phones and is available to Bell Mobility clients starting at $10 per month. Customers paying for the feature can make as many local Bell-to-Bell calls as they want at any time without using airtime minutes from their regular rate plan. "Whether clients want to maximize their business productivity or the time they spend talking to friends and family, we believe they’ll find this the most compelling offer in Canadian wireless," said Bell Mobility president Wade Oosterman in a news release.
