SDC provides DRM technology to Rogers MusicStore
Brief | March 12, 2007
Secure Digital Container (SDC), a fully label-approved provider of technology for digital rights management (DRM), has teamed with Rogers Wireless to power its new mobile music download service. SDC’s technology is being used to provide customers with both pay-per-download and all-you-can-eat monthly subscription services. The service, called Rogers MusicStore, is managed by SDC’s technology in the same way as an MP3 player. "This launch establishes SDC as the leading DRM technology vendor and de facto standard in Canada and reinforces SDC’s leadership in advanced DRM solutions for the wireless industry," said SDC’s CEO, Michael Bornhäusser.
