XM Canada to increase number of channels

Brief | March 16, 2007

XM Canada recently announced that it will be increasing the number of channels it will offer to subscribers to 120 channels. "We are thrilled to offer our customers even more choice and premium content than ever before and all at the current price of $14.99," said the company’s president and COO, Stephen Tapp. The increase will take effect on April 1 and will include new music, talk, sports and entertainment channels. For example, the company will be providing subscribers with new sports coverage that will include two new Canadian channels – XM Scoreboard and Calendrier Sportif – which will provide up-to-date scores and schedules for sporting events around the world.
