Phonetime posts record February revenue
Brief | March 19, 2007
Phonetime Inc., the Mississauga ON-based wholesale provider of prepaid phone cards, announced that its February 2007 revenue would exceed $6.5 million – a 500% increase over the same month last year and the highest revenue of any single month in the company’s history. February’s minute volume was also a one-month record at about 180 million minutes, a 300% increase compared to February 2006. "The momentum from our record January continued and grew in February," said the company’s president and CEO Wayne Silver. "Even more impressive is the fact that February is traditionally our slowest month of the fiscal year and there are only 28 days to earn revenue." The amount earned in the first two months of 2007 have already exceeded what the company earned in the first half of 2006.
