New YapOn services revolutionize mobile long distance

Brief | March 26, 2007

YapOn Inc., the Calgary-based provider of mobile Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions, recently announced the launch of two new services. Text to Talk allows mobile subscribers to access the most competitive long-distance rates directly from their mobile device regardless of the carrier or their location. Quick Connect enables YapOn subscribers to initiate long-distance calls from both landline and mobile phones via the company's Web interface. "You no longer need to be chained to a computer or fixed line in order to make long-distance calls economically," said CTO Ken Rozinsky of the new services.
