IDC taps Scovell for chair

International Datacasting Corp. has announced that longtime chair of the board of directors Denzil Doyle has resigned from his position. He will be replaced by Peter Scovell, a member of board for the past four years. Doyle has help the chair position since 1994 and widely considered a technology pioneer. He co-founded Capital Alliance Ventures, a venture capital firm that invested millions of dollars in the telecommunications and software industries. Scovell has more than 25 years experience in managing technology enterprises, including Nortel Networks' fixed wireless and satellite wireless businesses.
