Quebec fund helping expand global technology presence in the province

The Solidarity Fund QFL has announced that investments in three IT and telecom companies will result in benefits for the province of Quebec. The Fund will invest $11.8 million in Cellfish Media LLC, $8.7 million in Nexsan Technologies Corp. and $4.7 million in Envivio. All three companies will either open new offices in Montreal or have committed to expanding an existing workforce. Cellfish Media creates, publishes and distributes content for mobile devices. Nexsan designs and makes hardware for the data storage market. Envivio has developed digital video encoding and decoding solutions for high-definition TV, mobile TV and IPTV.
