Rogers to pay $137.5M for select CHUM assets

CTV globemedia may have finally found a way around a thorny problem looming over its proposed acquisition of CHUM Ltd.: too many stations in select markets. Today, Rogers Communications Inc. announced it will pay $137.5 million in cash for 10 of CHUM's television assets, both conventional and specialty.
