Research in Motion Ltd. will release its fourth-quarter and fiscal year financial results on Wednesday and the numbers will demonstrate that the Waterloo ON-based firm should be considered king of the mountain in the smartphone business. RIM revealed last month that it had added about one million new BlackBerry customers in Q4, bringing the company's total user base to approximately 8 million worldwide.
