New VW models pumping sound of digital radio

Sirius Canada announced that Volkswagen Canada Inc. will offer Sirius Satellite Radio as standard equipment in two new vehicle models – the 2008 Touareg 2 and special edition Triple White New Beetle Convertible. The satellite radio receivers will be factory-installed in these models and will be bundled with a three-month subscription to Sirius Canada's 110-channel service. Other VW models in which Sirius radio is available include the Rabbit, Jetta, new Beetle, Passat Sedan, and Passat Wagon. "Now more Volkswagen drivers will be able to experience Sirius' premium programming and digital quality sound," said John White, executive VP of Volkswagen Canada.
