Briefs | 04/11/2007 11:04 am EDT

Musicrypt Inc., the Richmond Hill ON-based developer of secure digital media distribution systems, has announced that its DMDS web-based delivery system has successfully delivered the new single by rock band Linkin Park to radio stations across the United States. This is the first time a major record label in the US has released a highly-anticipated new single entirely by digital means to radio. "We are honoured to have been entrusted with this historic release, which has set in motion a seismic shift in how the music industry markets and delivers its artists to radio," said Chris Montgonery, the executive VP for Musicrypt.
