Concord ON-based OceanLake Commerce Inc. has launched meemo, the brand for its mobile, real-time, push email service. Meemo is inexpensive solution that allows users to send and receive email from their existing accounts from any Internet-enabled mobile phone or PDA. "We believe there is a tremendous opportunity to serve the 90% of the market that does not have a smart phone but wants to stay connected to friends and family," said OceanLake president and CEO William Car. He added that users will be able to send and receive email with meemo "as easily as a text message." A pre-registration page is now available at http://www.meemo.com/, and the service will launch soon in Canada and the US.
