XM radio standard in 2008 automotive lineup

Briefs | 04/16/2007 12:48 pm EDT

Satellite radio provider XM Canada has announced that its service will be a standard, factory-installed feature in all 2008 Infiniti vehicles. This is the first time XM radios have been a standard feature across an entire automotive line. "We are pleased Infiniti is the first brand to offer XM as standard equipment in their luxury vehicles," said XM Canada's president and CEO, Stephen Tapp. "This announcement demonstrates the added value that drivers find with XM Canada's extensive satellite coverage and unique programming lineup." Nissan and Infiniti, a division of Nissan Canada Inc., entered into a distribution agreement with XM Canada in March 2006.
