Telus nets online rights to Quebec junior hockey games

Telus Corp. will webcast all 630 regular-season and playoff games of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's 2007-2008 season, the two entities said today. The deal covers the next five seasons of QMJHL action. Starting tomorrow, the seven-game final series of the 2006-2007 season kicks off with the Lewiston MAINEiacs and the Val D'Or Foreurs competing for the league's highest honor, the President's Cup. Those games and all future QMJHL games through to 2012, will be available live and online at www.telus.com/qmjhl.
