Briefs | 05/07/2007 1:49 pm EDT

Yahoo Inc. has brought its mobile search service, oneSearch, to Canada and five European countries. The company states in a news release that oneSearch "reinvents search on the mobile," aims to give consumers instant and relevant answers, and is designed to specifically for the handset. "It understands what busy consumers are looking for when they are on the move and brings up relevant answers in the first screen. Yahoo oneSearch delivers better results with just one search, instead of a sea of Web links to PC sites," Yahoo Canada GM Kerry Munro said in a news release.
