Primus adds Hosted PBX to SMB conga line

Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc. has unveiled a managed IP phone system, Hosted PBX. Designed for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), the offering connects to the vendor's network via a simple T1 line. It comes with long-distance minutes, portal functionality, and unified voice mail/ email messaging. Primus said Hosted PBX is easy to use, and requires no major capital outlay to purchase. Many communication technology service providers have started to focus on small companies lately.
