Rogers acquires FCI

Rogers Communications Inc. is solidifying its presence in the Greater Toronto Area market by acquiring the remaining 80% of Futureway Communications Inc. (FCI) it doesn't already own. FCI is a facilities-based provider of telecommunications and high-speed Internet services in and around the GTA. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed in a May 25 news releasing announcing the deal.
