Martine Guimond has been named to the board of directors of Montreal-based Internet media company Branchez-Vous inc. Guimond is a partner at the law firm of Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP where she specializes in corporate finance with an emphasis on securities and mergers and acquisitions. She is chair of the regulatory committee of the Quebec Investment Funds Council and a member of the nominating committee of the Financial Women's Association of Quebec. At Branchez-Vous, Guimond will be a member of the nominating, compensation and corporate governance committee, and she has also been appointed secretary of the corporation.
